Born in 1966 in Shizuoka Prefecture

Kanagawa University, Graduate in Industrial Management. Specilization in artificial intelligence. Researched natural language processing based descision support systems.

Entered DEC Japan. As a system engineer developed dealing systems for large banks and securities companies. Moved to a Silicon Valley middleware vendor at the invitation of a superior after starting to become dissatisfied with the clockwork nature of the scope of his work with large organizations.

As a project manager at Teknekron Software Systems (now Tibco Software Inc.) he worked as a client support link and client-supplier interface primarily on projects for Japanese, Hong Kong and Korean financial institutions - from pre-sales through the design, customization, development, implementation and troubleshooting stages. In the early stages of entering the Korean market he spent over 100 days a year travelling on buiness, driving partner development on numerous projects. He was then promoted to Director of Technology Marketing for financial and high-tech industry focused EAI middleware evangelism, partner support and operations support.

From 2001, as a founding member of CIS Ltd. (Central Information Systems) , an internet commerce company (now Sony Global Solutions Ltd.) he worked on various internet related projects. Promoted to company president in July 2001he introduced a one-stop IT solution service for online securities, large banks, net ventures, marketing companies and the like.

With the evolution of the internet and information technologies from a focus on rationalist TCO reduction IT to increased ROI focused IT, in the context of this broader role for IT he realized the need for a professional resource for IT implementation founded on management strategy.
This situation was characterized by vendors who would not commit to success-based contracts, and clients who could not convey their needs to vendors and lacked resources for skillful vendor management. In November 2002, with the aim of providing management support for IT utilization he founded the CIO and project manager support out-sourcing focused Arcadia Technology Consulting Inc.
