CIO Service (Regular Operations Support)

What is CIO Service?

A service to provide professional IT utilization representative/support for small and medium size companies and the subsidiaries of larger organizations for whom procuring a CIO (or staff to perform a similar function) is challenging, and for firms who do not need such competencies on a full-time basis.

Coaching in the efficient use of IT tools in accordance with management or parent company strategy, and in line with client IT utilization maturity level.

CIO service is an amalgamation of the following two services.

Current Status Diagnostics Servies

IT systems that have become complicated need to be fully understood, and effective implementation planning is essential.
This service grasps the current situation from the perspective of 'IT utilization' and 'IT investment' and translates that into half-yearly IT action plans.

IT Investment Maturity Level Diagnostic Service

Diagnosing IT investment maturity level through the assessment of:

・Inventory of 'tools'(=IT assets)
・Strategic alignment
・Total costs (investment repayment costs/running and maintenance costs/personnel expenses)
・'Outcomes' status

IT Utilization Maturity Level Diagnostic Service

Diagnosing IT Utilization maturity level through the assessment of:

'Spirit': Management level IT utilization determination and policy/Rule penetration in the workplace.
'Technique': Maturity level of both total organization IT management competency (=CIO strength) and individual system management competency (=PMO strength).
'Body': IT related organizational structure and human resource maturity level.

Thinking in terms of Level:
Level is a measure of the organization's IT scale/complexity based on annual IT related expenditure.

The pricing for this service is tied to the Level.
Level1: Annual IT related expenditure less than 20 Million Yen.
Level2: Annual IT related expenditure between 20 and 50 Million Yen.
Level3: Annual IT related expenditure between 50 Million and 200 Million Yen.

*This service is not appropriate for organizations with an annual IT related expenditure of more than 200 Million Yen. Please contact us for an estimate.

We offer three services to assess the 'Spirit, Technique, Body and Tool' of 'IT utilization' and 'IT investment' and propose a focused 'Implementation Plan'.
(Recommended once per contract period, or yearly)

IT Consultant Service

	On Site Service	100,000 Yen/month (On site related costs including transportation and accommodation are calculated separately. Travel outside of the Tokyo Metropolitan Area incurs a separate 5,000 Yen/hour movement fee).
	Other Services	15,000 Yen/hour *Support costs subject to modification at contract initiation and renewal.

"Success Guarantee"
If, at the expiration of each six-month contract, targets are not met ( as measured in the current status diagnosis) the IT Consultant Service (Standard) fee will be reduced and refunded in line with performance.
Note that if the agreed plan is not carried out due to an act of God, the refundable amount will be decided in consultation between the client and Arcadia.

An IT utilization professional (qualified IT coordinator) acting as consultant will provide regular advice to management or CIO candidate with a view to supporting future autonomy.
