Road to the Arcadia
Before I started this company, IT vendor companies were in alliance with each other, called メThe Win-Win relationshipsモ even after the IT economy bubble had burst. Vendors had convinced customers that they had been offered the best solutions, and I also used to work for such a vendor company. However, I was wondering if such メpassive obedienceモ could be truly on the usersユ management policies. In fact, Iユve seen lots of scenes that vendors had pushed their products onto the clients without clear strategies and business objectives with plausible theories. Iユve even felt such "The Win-Win relationships" had arisen between the vendors themselves, but the cause of the problems depended not only on vendor side but on user side with no specific strategies and objectives.
Here, I will strongly recommend that it is essential to present the business requirements, along with their management policies, with accuracy and conduct IT management duties to vendors. However it is quite hard to recruit their own staff because of the lack of human resources, except for some parts of the bigger enterprises. These ideas spurred me to start this business which offers IT professional outsourcing services from the same viewpoint of the clients. We would be the bridge between the clients and the vendors and conduct the IT management from the client perspective. I believe such IT professional outsourcing services are required in current businesses. Also the clients would establish substantial relationships with the vendors if the clients obtain the initiative to do so. This scenario could be realized by adopting "The Win-Win relationships".
- We understand the management policy of the clients and contribute to the client profit with the assistance for the clients to utilize IT, which is a means of the strategic practice, efficiently and effectively
- We challenge ourselves to keep seeking for the better solutions by the experience of the clients support and the pursue for the essence of the problems as professionals on information strategies.
In order to realize these concepts, we advocate 7 policies as follows,
- Understand that "IT is mere tool to do something".
- Thinking from the viewpoint of the president of the company。
- Understanding that "the concerns among the stakeholders".
- Commitment for accomplishment.
- Keep thinking.
- Offering added value.
- Striving to be "the business of the future"
We keep challenging ourselves to establish utopia ("Arcadia" in Latin) with a genuine "Win-Win relationships" attitude.
